Mark Turpin, Partner and Chief Executive Officer
Mark Turpin brings many years of staffing industry experience with him to HT Staffing. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and began work in the staffing industry as an on–site temporary staffing coordinator for a international staffing company at Apple Computer in Austin, Texas. He progressed through various positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately becoming top national sales representative for professional placement in 1998 and 1999. He now leads operations at HT Staffing to strengthen our market position in temporary, professional and technical services.
Mark resides in Austin and is active in the community. He is a member of many local associations including the Austin Independent Business Alliance, as well as, serving on the board of directors for the Capital City Association of Personnel Consultants (CCAPC). In addition Mark is proud to serve on the board of directors and executive committee for the Texas Association of Business.
Nad Elias, Managing Partner
Nad has built a career in the recruiting and staffing industry that includes all aspects of employer and candidate development. He has experience conducting professional and executive searches and managing nationwide staffing projects with small to mid-size organizations as well as Fortune 500 companies.
He came to HT Staffing from an IT and engineering placement firm, where he had responsibility for the direct placement division, leading a team of recruiters across the nation. His experience includes working for an executive search firm and holding industry sales and marketing roles. His areas of specialization are management consulting, sales/marketing, and IT/software development/engineering.
He currently manages the direct hire and technical services divisions for HT Staffing. He has received yearly recognition from the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants as one of the top 50 recruiters in Texas and continues to serve as an active member of the board for the Capitol City Association of Personnel Consultants.
Nad holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He resides in Austin and remains actively involved in the community. He is an active board member of the American Diabetes Association Central Texas Chapter and the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants. He is also a member of the Austin Young Men’s Business League and the Austin Technology Council.
Jim Gilliam, Chairman
Jim has an extensive business background that includes ownership in multiple businesses and industries. As a founding partner of HT Staffing, his substantial business and creative talent has been one of the key components in HT’s success. Jim works close with the managing partners to provide strategic insight and planning as HT continues to grow and develop as a business.
Jim is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in Finance. He resides in Beaumont, Texas with his wife and two children and stays active in the community. Past associations include board of director with United Way, CASA,, Baptist Hospital, local Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation.
